Celebrating the 44th anniversary of independence of Mauritius. More than ever this is a happy occasion because this country has made huge leaps in progress. Indeed, the country is now an example of economic prosperity and modern development for the SADC region. This nation is now building up to being a hub for the Indian Ocean and African region. Many foreign companies are setting up regional offices here to better serve the African continent. On this birthday we salute the courage and vision of a young nation that aims for modernization and social justice for the people.
